Frequently asked questions
What most teams ask before requesting a quote.
Do we need any experience?
No. The workshops are designed for beginners — we demonstrate every technique on site, step by step. All you need is openness.
What should we wear?
Something you don’t mind getting messy — though everyone gets an apron and we cover the tables. Clay washes out easily with water.
How many people can join?
Up to 20 for hand-building, up to 12 for wheel throwing — so everyone gets attention. For larger teams we suggest multiple rounds.
How long does a session take?
The workshop itself is 2–3 hours. We ask for about an hour before and after for set-up and pack-up — none of which is your job.
What do you need at the venue?
Very little: stable tables, running water nearby, a socket or two, and a space where the team fits comfortably. Details are on the How we work page.
When do we get the finished ceramics?
Each piece is retouched and fired twice, then returns to you in 3–4 weeks — labelled by name, in a gift box.
How much does it cost?
Every occasion is priced individually, based on venue, group size and the chosen package. We reply to enquiries within 48 hours.
Do you travel outside Budapest?
We mainly work in and around Budapest, but we are happy to travel further by arrangement — tell us where you are.
Do you run workshops in English?
Yes, we lead sessions in English for international teams.
